Really enjoyed this, perhaps even more than the first two. The characters are growing quite nicely and the world seems to open up and become more fascinating with each succesive volume. Some very well written characters in this one, notably Blaine who I kind of felt sorry for more than anything, even though I'm not really sure that was the intention; who knows, perhaps it was. Another good character was Gasher who I hated, and this time I know that was the intention. The ka-tet is moving along very nicely too with the characters growing towards each other more and more all the time until by the end of this third volume where you really do get the feeling that they truly care for each other and are actually the ka-tet that Roland intended them to be.
Am looking forward to the fourth volume now.
